My Skin Type: Pale, dry, sun-damaged, sensitive, prone to rednessMy Typical AM Facial Routine: Wash/exfoliate, serum, moisturizer with SPF or if without, apply sunscreen on top of moisturizerMy Typical PM Facial Routine: Clean with Micellar water/reusable cotton pad, serum, heavier overnight moisturizerThis product came in a very pretty box and jar with a seal under the lid. I typically exfoliate my skin 2-3 times a week during my AM shower but I test this using it to wash my face of skin products and sunscreen (no makeup) during my evening routine. This has very little (if any) scent.I applied this to my wet face. The thick cream is full of tiny grit similar to fine sand which works well to remove dead skin cells from my face. I didn't find the grit to be overly rough even with my sensitive skin as long as you take care not to rub it too hard into your skin. I did find that it was difficult to wash off with just warm water so I followed it up with a gentle facial wash to get rid of the grit. It left my face feeling polished and clean, though not really moisturized until I followed it up with a night cream. For the current $26 sale price, I feel this is a deal. I would recommend only using it every 2-3 days or it can be too damaging on your skin, even if it's not sensitive.
