HIGH QUALITY PROTECTION: Intended for general purpose use or in places elevated temperatures. These Skullgard helmets have been tested to radiant heat loads producing temperatures up to, but not exceeding 350°F. A smooth crown allows for the easiest use of all MSA welding equipment. Meet the voluntary standard for reverse donning, low temperature [LT], higher temperature [HT[, and Hi-Viz [HV].

MULTI-PURPOSE CAP STRENGTH: Crafted with a phenolic shell and handmade for durability, toughness and quality, this helmet is usable in a variety of industries. Use Skullgard helmets in steel mills, welding, construction, open-pit mining, oil/gas/petrochemical refineries, rubber manufacturing, and steam tunnels.

STAZ-ON SUSPENSION: This helmet features a 4-point Staz-On suspension system to keep helmet in place. Features a high-quality sweatband and nylon height adjusters for superior comfort and a semi-custom fit. Designed to easily clip into the cap shell, allowing users to adjust their liner for a secure fit.

VARIETY OF SIZES & COLORS: Comes available in a large variety of colors and sizes with custom imprinting and striping options. With custom logo options and any of 27+ different reflective and retro-reflective stripes, MSA gives the ultimate experience in hardhat customization.

MEETS PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Skullgard Caps meet all applicable requirements for a Type I (top impact) helmet as outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (Class G). These caps have been fully third-party tested and certified by SEI. Date codes are molded into the underside of the shell’s brim with the year and month in which that specific shell was manufactured. **This date does not indicate a helmet’s service life; the service life begins when it is placed into service.** – See attached FAQ sheet

I dont have a clue what I'm doing at work, but this hat sure makes it look like i know what's going on.My husband works uncle struction and he should have the regular ones but her very heavy he come home with headache and I decide to buy this one it was a little more money but is worth it because he comes home he always said this is worth it because I don’t have the more headachesYou get what you pay for. Great fitting hard hat... lightweight and comfortable. The open plastic bag and the initials other reviewers are complaining about are actually part of quality control. This is a brand new hard hat and is very well made.The light brown color is on pointFits good and looks good. So far my melon remains uncracked due to its protection.ComfortThe black piece inside broke off easily but he replaced with one from his older hard hat. Hat itself is durable and he hasn't complained.It is comfortable the edge of the helmet really isn’t finished properly. It had a few chips in it after day two. My last helmet was the rough neck by Honeywell. It was three times as cheap and I wore that daily for 5 years. I wanted one that I never see anyone wear and this is it.....$$. I think $40-50 cheaper than I payed would be reasonable for the product. The MSA helmet is double the price it should be!!First one I ordered was defective. Exchanged it for a new one and the insert wouldn't sit still inside the hard hat, it kept sliding off my head. This is 100% overpriced.If you need a hard hat, this is the only one to buy. It's light weight and comfortable. Lucky enough not to know it's structural capability (fingers crossed it will work good) The colour is brown and " unfinished " which is fine with me because I work construction and not at a fashion show.
