I bought this CD on a bit of a whim, looking for something different and creative. Wow, what a treat! The CD is beautiful, ethereal and other worldy, it will totally transport you to another time and place. Brilliant music which draws upon poets of the Dark Ages, this compilation is a celebration of grrl power that is somehow interwoven into Medieval themes. These women are bright, taunting, talented and pure genius! Upon listening I am immediately ordering more of their music. If you are intrigued by all things Renaissance and Medieval, this one is definitely for you.
