Understandably the King of the Movie Cowboys. With bright eyes and good looks. Lean frame and great smile.Roy captured the hearts of all children of my era. When I was6 years old, My mom took me to see Roy at live performancein Indianapolis. I was picked out of 3 kids to be allowed to rideon the back of Trigger with Roy. Once around the arena we went.I thought it would be ok if My life ended at that time. I had reached the mecca.Met Roy again at a meeting in Apple Valley with his daughter Cheryle. We were going to use many of the articles from the old museum on ourSalute to the Cowboys of the Silver Screen show. Had lunch with he andDale. Shortly after Roy passed on. He will never be out of touch with hisfront row kid gang ever.
