I love this brand, but I'm not crazy about this particular product. It's not anything specific; more of an overall reaction.First, why must scents be added to this sort of thing? They have the potential to cause problems and a scent is unnecessary. It's pleasant enough and doesn't cause me (personally) any skin problems, but I wish it weren't there.Second, it's super thick. Like, to the point that the dropper doesn't work all that well with it. Worse, it takes longer for it to dry/absorb. I'm a busy person and hate having to temporarily do something else while I wait. Once it's dry, it has a heavier feeling than I like. Finally, I get that it's supposed to give you a "glass-like" appearance, but on me I feel like it looks more like oily skin. I like how well it hydrates and even plumps a bit, and it does a great job with pore minimizing, but I've been putting a powder foundation over the top to tone down the shininess.Again, I love this brand and this product might be fine for others, but I feel like, at this price point, there are other serums I like better (including others from the same brand). My facial skin is literally GLOWING every time I use this serum. I love it!This "Urban Clinicals Glass Skin Luster Serum, Glow-Boosting, Refining Serum with Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid to Nourish, Hydrate, Clarify for Dewy, Poreless, Radiant Skin, 1 fl oz, Dropper Bottle" serum has fragrance in it, so I had to take a pass because I have really sensitive skin, but my teen was excited to try this product. She said that the serum soaks in quickly and has a smooth feel to it like a light oil that makes her skin feel dewy. She says the scent is fresh and strong. She does say that adding moisturizer on her skin after using the serum does make her face feel 'caked' with an additional product, though, so this serum must prevent her other products from saturation, too. Overall, as a stand-alone serum, it's decent.(Helpful? I hope so. Let me know.)This is a clear fluid with a slight tackiness to it. It is lightly fragranced. The product is designed to be worn under a moisturizer. I like the ‘glass skin’ concept but most of these ingredients are in other products I use so I am not sure how this is that different.I ran the ingredients through a cosmetics checker. It scored a 1 for potential comedogenic ingredients and a 3 for potential fungal acne causing ingredients. So that is very good.Ingredients :Water, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Ethylhexylglycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Palmitate, Propylene Glycol, Hoya Lacunosa Flower Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-10, Quartz, Polysorbate 80, Sorbitan StearateVery thick serum, the dropper doesn’t seem to work I had to squeeze many times to get the right amount of serum for my face and neck. This is also good after make up application to make it look dewy and fresh. The thought of my skin looking like smooth glass is really intriguing to me. After putting this on, my skin did appear very smooth and had a dewy appearance. My personal preference is to have more of a matte look. I applied my pressed powder over the top of this serum and my skin still looked super smooth with a matte finish. This serum is very thick and I find it difficult to get a decent amount in the eye dropper. I wish they would find a better method to extract the serum out of the bottle.Urban Clinicals Glass Skin Luster Serum, Glow-Boosting, Refining Serum with Niacinamide and Hyaluronic AcidVery lightly scented, high-viscosity serum that has a very slight gritty feeling when applying. Takes a few seconds to absorb and dry down. Gives a slight look of dewiness. Very hydrating. Niacinamide brightens and peptides support collagen production to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. Would highly prefer an unscented serum, but otherwise like this for daytime use. Suitable for all skin types.#alcohol-freeKey Ingredients:Anti-acne: NiacinamideCell-communicating ingredient: NiacinamideSkin brightening: NiacinamideSkin-identical ingredient: Sodium HyaluronateFull Ingredients:Water, Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Ethylhexylglycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetyl Palmitate, Propylene Glycol, Hoya Lacunosa Flower Extract, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-10, Quartz, Polysorbate 80, Sorbitan StearateI've used quite a few serums. Some of them are on the oilier side and some have a really light clean finish. I would say this one is pretty thick and heavy going on but ends up feeling light and moisturizing. So it's a good combo. I don't know that my skin is reflective and glowing as the advert says, but I do believe it is a great underlayer for primer to really achieve a smoother finish.
