I was expecting a "silky" feeling fleece but it is definitely a wool feeling rug. The color is a really nice shade of pink and I am very happy with it. I have not yet tried to vacuum it but it is in my bedroom on a tile floor and the room gets very little dust or dirt so I think if I haul it out this summer and give it a few whacks over the clothes line it should be good for another year.
